George Floyd: Thoughts from a Human Being

After several days of listening to talking heads, and watching events unfold, I have a few things I would like to say.

First, if African-Americans do not wish to be judged by the color of their skin, DO NOT JUDGE ME BY THE COLOR OF MINE!!!!!

I had NOTHING to do with Mr. Floyd's death, yet self-righteous social justice warriors hell-bent on proving they are "enlightened" have engaged in non-stop PANDERING to black activists. "Oh, I am so sorry. We are all fucked up. We need to figure out why we are all fucked up, and figure out how to stop being all fucked up."

AGAIN: I HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT!!!

I, like TENS OF MILLIONS OF AMERICANS OF ALL RACES, COLORS, AND CREEDS, WERE APPALLED AT WHAT HAPPENED IN MINNEAPOLIS!!! To attribute the actions of this asshole to an entire RACE smacks of...well...umm...RACISM!!!

I do NOT need people apologizing for me! If I need to apologize for something, I will do so, WITHOUT the likes of MSNBC "speaking" for me!!!

Now, then. I have always fought against racism, which FAR TOO OFTEN involves fighting fellow "conservatives" who think it is apropos to call African-Americans "nigger", "monkey", "ape", "animal", and the like. I have absolutely no idea when that became fashionable, but it is WRONG, and I have a FIFTY-EIGHT-YEAR-LONG-RECORD of fighting this stupidity, so ENOUGH with lumping me in with everyone in the world who shares my skin pigmentation!!!

I am happy to hear that Derek Chauvin is in custody. His compatriots will be joining him soon. I LOVE this prosecutor who came out with a very short and sweet announcement. This guy means business! Everyone really needs to calm down and go to the beach for the weekend or something because that mic drop moment was priceless. When was the last time you have ever heard a public official deliver a one-liner and then open it up to questions? NEVER!

Finally, something else is going on here, which I hope the DOJ is focusing on. These two men worked at the same club for five years. They have a background. We have video showing Mr. Floyd being escorted WITHOUT INCIDENT to a patrol car. We then have video showing him flat on his face. HOW DID HE GET THERE? I am hoping and praying someone has video that fills in those few seconds because whatever happened has something to do with Mr. Chauvin. I can smell it. We need to know what happened with them while they were working at the club, and we need to know what happened when Chauvin hit the scene on Monday. 

Can we all just take a deep breath and wait for this to play out? We will get all of this filled in, and we do not need to keep sniping at each other for this to happen.

#Coronavirus: The Stupidity of "#Quarantine"

Life is a risk. When I decide to take a shower, there is a risk that I will slip, fall, crack my head open on the tub, and die. No one will even know until the rent becomes past due.

Oh, but the children. Well, they can be standing at the bus stop waiting for the school bus when a drunken driver goes flying down the street, loses control of his vehicle, and slams into the little tykes, throwing them one hundred yards to their deaths.

Oh, but Gramma. OK, I will actually give you that one, but here is this: If you are at risk, STAY HOME. SINCE WHEN does Gramma get to demand that I stay home so SHE can go out?! 

Is anyone really looking forward to restaurants opening, so that we can PAY FOR someone in hospital garb to serve us pricey food for the privilege of using DISPOSABLE PLATES AND UTENSILS???

This PSYOP has gotten completely out-of-hand. Did my readers hear the report that the CDC actually recommended we "socially-distance" from our PETS?! THESE PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO KILL US! Not the virus. THE POWERS-THAT-BE!

ENOUGH with this nonsense. I live in Las Vegas. After many, MANY contradictory reports about whether-or-not SSI, VA, and Railroad benefit recipients will receive a stimulus check, I FINALLY got word that I will receive one and I have been told the date. 

Groovy. So, what do I do with it? Well, obviously, in my financial position most of it is getting tucked away so I can take care of myself during this STUPIDITY and beyond, but it sure would be nice to go out and have a nice meal. Or go to a movie. Or put $20 in a slot machine and play twenty-five cents at a time so I can entertain myself for an hour or two.

Can I do that? NO! Because NOTHING IS OPEN, and even when our tyrannical governor finally opens the casinos again on May 22, it is going to be like the Twilight Zone. Employees specifically assigned to make sure everyone is six feet away from everyone else. How fun. Sure. I would LOVE to WASTE MY MONEY being treated like a DAMNED LEPER!!!!!

This shit needs to STOP! PERIOD! If you are sick, stay home. If you are scared, stay home. If you are a germophobe, stay home. STOP RUINING MY LIFE TO MAKE YOURSELF FEEL BETTER!!!!! It only makes me wish you WOULD contract the damned virus so you would be one less person running around telling me to stay in my PRISON CELL indefinitely and be HAPPY ABOUT IT!!!

SCREW YOU PEOPLE!!! SERIOUSLY!!! WHO-IN-HELL ARE YOU TO DICTATE MY LIFE???????????????????????????
